Tourism plan eyed for Oklahoma state parks and centers
Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission discussed a six year capital outlay plan to upgrade Quartz Mountain Great Plains Fort Cobb state parks and to relocate Lawton visitor information center with new centers at Altus Dewey Hugo and Guymon. Hesser cited a 1.1 billion annual tourism impact and urged 4 to 5 million yearly maintenance funding.
