Duncan approves Waurika water pact amid vast support
Duncan voters endorse a 25 year water supply contract with the Waurika Project Master Conservancy District by about 90 percent of 2,400 ballots. The pact guarantees a major rise in municipal capacity and specifies allocations for Duncan Lawton Waurika Comanche Walters and Temple with funding through ad valorem taxes.
