Blackstock Contemplates Oklahoma Democratic Chairmanship
Bristow lawyer Robert Blackstock, president of the Oklahoma Bar Association, says he has been approached about the state Democratic chairmanship but has not decided. The Sapulpa Herald cited rumor of backing from the congressional delegation and said Blackstock met in Shawnee with U S Rep Tom Steed and 4th District Chairman Buddy Wilcoxson, though Blackstock denied a Steed meeting.
