Albert Heralded At Fort Sill In Patriot Award Ceremony
Retiring U.S. House Speaker Carl Albert received the Patriot's Award at Fort Sill in a ceremony hosted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society. The event featured a 19 gun salute and a dinner attended by Maj. Gen. Donald R. Keith, Rep. Tom Steed, and 60 others, with Albert praised for a life of service and devotion to country.
