Paris AP reports Alice Saunier-Siete, secretary of state for universities, oversees a $2.2 billion budget and 77 institutions with about a million students. She worries French students spend too long on liberal arts and too little on practical research, noting many liberal arts degree holders struggle to find jobs.
The Lowton Police charged public complaints listing names and addresses of residents and businesses reporting thefts and burglaries. Items stolen include bicycles radios television and a car battery with several residences and locations named.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety studied 63 motorcycle deaths finding the motorcyclist at fault in about two thirds of crashes. Half lacked valid licenses, a third used borrowed or rented bikes, and over one third of alcohol tests showed intoxication.
