Edward Dale Chambers age 23 of Ada remained jailed in Pontotoc County on a 10000 dollar bond on charges of kidnaping a woman and her daughter. Barbara Summers and six year old Bobbie were abducted after their car was forced off the road. Summers freed herself and rescued her daughter when they were driven into town. Bobbie suffered injuries but was listed in satisfactory condition at Valley View Hospital. Chambers was later taken into custody at his Ada home.
