State Prison inmates confined since the July riot have joined limited work details in the past month to gain exercise and fresh air. About 115 non-security risk prisoners worked at times, with 1,050 inmates now in the facility and plans uncertain for a full resumption of regular schedules. The mess hall remains under repair and meals continue in cells while the facility awaits adjustments and security reassessment.
