City Man Injured When Hit By Car
Roy Watson, Ikua, received minor injuries Saturday afternoon when struck by a car as he stood near his vehicle parked in a southside service driveway. Watson was admitted to Memorial hospital following the mishap which occurred at 92 rem at Welch Oil Co. Second and Lee. Patrolman Coble Wallace investigated.

Suspect Jailed for Drunk Driving in Grandheim
A 13 year old Grandheim man charged previously in the county with drunken driving was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 300 block for DUI investigation. Patrolman Murl Rhoads took him into city jail at 4 13 p.m. pending charges. He was driving a 1957 GMC half ton pickup at the time of arrest.
