A Busy Bee luncheon hosted at Mrs. Kklb McClain’s home on Summit featured guests and members of Lawyer Rebekah Lodge No. 87. Co hostesses Miss Gronalda Francis and Mrs. Warren Batty led prayers and a brief business session ended with benediction. gifts were exchanged in a one hour gathering.
Miss Velva Watts and Joe Thomas plan a double ring wedding in Cache, with Velva’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Jess Watts and Grover Thomas of Cache listed as parents of the couple. Velva is a 1937 Cache High School senior, co editor of the annual, fashion editor of the school paper, and active in FFA, Homemakers, glee club, and the Cache Chapter. Joe Thomas is a 1955 Cache High School graduate active in FFA and on the school paper staff, now employed by Town and Country Mobile Homes in Lawton.
In Champaign Illinois Mrs Rita McGreer advises parents facing a child on a feeding strike to avoid panic and not force meals. She recommends maintaining a friendly indifferent attitude to encourage natural appetite without pressure.
Mrs McGreer advocates allowing the child to choose when and how much to eat while ensuring the food is tasty nutritious and attractively served with satisfactory portions.
