Mrs. Dick Hoffman led a slide presentation on the Holy Lands for the Sullivan Village United Methodist Church Women group. Hostesses were Mrs. David Durant and Mrs. Jack Thomas. eight women attended. Hoffman shared Jerusalem experiences.
During a Fort Sill meeting of Wives of Officer Candidates Classes 373 and 473 in the USAFAS Battalion a new slate was chosen. Mrs. Ed Bridges presided. officers named include Mrs. Don Craighead as vice president Mrs. Howard Fauncher as treasurer Mrs. Ronald Hackney as publicity and Mrs. Wayne McGlamry as hospitality.
Mrs. Merritt hosted a gathering of Wives of Officers of the Headquarters Command USAFAC at her Fort Sill home. Attendees included Mrs. Ronald Burkett Mrs. Russell Smith Jr and Mrs. Patrick Zimlich. Mrs. Everett Smith presided and plans were made for a Thursday luncheon in the Fort Sill Officers Club Arillery Room with Mrs Eugene Burkland to host the next coffee. Sixteen women attended.

She studies under William Fletcher Lawton. The event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association.
Mrs. Dick Schumpert was honored at a dinner and party at her home in Chattanooga for her 81st birthday. Hosts included Mr and Mrs Richard Lewis and John Oklahoma City Mr and Mrs Ron Clifton Liberal Kansas Mrs C R Washburn Walters Mr and Mrs Billy D Schumpert David Douglas and Mark Walters and Mr and Mrs G H Schumpert Jr and Tracy Lawton. Mrs Schumpert played piano accompaniment for group singing.
