Federal indictments name Dun and Bradstreet along with nine companies and 40 individuals in a multimillion dollar scheme to defraud the Federal Housing Administration. The 300 count case alleges rigged credit ratings and inflated appraisals used to obtain high FHA insured mortgages on dilapidated homes sold to low income families. Foreclosures and defaults mounted with an estimated 200 million dollars in government losses.

A $300 million damage suit accuses Westgate California Corp and president C Arnholt Smith of securities violations. The complaint seeks full accounting of transactions with subsidiaries and cites deceptive schemes to defraud Westgate California shareholders. The action names related individuals linked to Smith and Coen.
Five juveniles aged 10 to 12 were arrested Wednesday afternoon in Lawton. Police expect the group to clear up about 30 burglaries in the southwest Lawton area. They will face charges in juvenile court, said Set. J. B. Langford.
