Mrs Hawley Named To Staff Of Oklahoma Study
Helen Culp Hawley, 1011 Th, former senior nurse at the city county health department, has been appointed to the hospital survey field staff of the Oklahoma Child Health Services Study for the American Academy of Pediatrics. She will visit about 50 hospitals in southwestern Oklahoma in coming weeks to review hospitalization facilities for children. The six week to two month study has support from the Oklahoma Hospital Association and state health department, with survey results to be shared with interested groups. Accident costs in the United States during 1846 averaged 144 dollars per family.

Troop Arrivals Reported From Atlantic Delay
The General Richardson, delayed by a storm, is the only troop ship due today at a U S port, arriving in New York with 2,497 troops from Bremerhaven. The General Bundy docked yesterday in San Francisco with 1,820 troops from Japan and Korea.
