Henry William Conwoop of Lawton is among 43 Oklahomaans being returned from the Pacific theater for burial in the U S The remains will be transported to San Francisco aboard the army transport Sergeant Morrin Crain He was 24 when killed on Luzon March 15 1945 and died May 4 He served from 1942 with the 25th Division in the Philippines and earned a Purple Heart He attended Lawton High School and Cameron College and worked at Fremont Co prior to enlistment Funeral arrangements will be announced by Becker Funeral Home.
