House Democrats push $3.95 billion public works bill toward law
The House passed the public works employment bill 328 83 with Senate backing 70 25. It would fund 350 000 jobs and authorize 3.95 billion for municipal facilities and infrastructure and faces a possible presidential veto from Ford who has not decided yet.
