Boston Globe begins Pentagon papers series on Vietnam war

The Boston Globe published excerpts from a Pentagon study on the Vietnam War highlighting a June 1964 Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting where Adm. Harry D. Five Nominated For Judgeships In Oklahoma

Oklahoma City AP reports two Ponca City attorneys and three Tulsa lawyers were nominated by the judicial nominating commission to fill vacancies in Kay Noble County and Tulsa County. Gov. David Hall will appoint from commission recommendations. Names include Lowell Doggett and James P. Johnson of Ponca City and One will McDougal among nominees. The commission left an associate judgeship vacancy in Atoka County unresolved.
