Hearing on county redistricting continues with committee notes

Ebisch reports that three names were approved for the study committee but he could not secure his own appointment. The panel includes Rhoads, Aubrey, and Collier. Ebisch questions Aubrey’s stance against redistricting while noting Rhoads acts as attorney for the board. He cites 1910 district lines and a 1925 change later voided. Proposals would rebalance districts to about 20 000 people each, reducing District No 2 from 61 697 to around 34 000, with action expected to be postponed.
