Typist Kills Roommate To Steal $160 Check
A 19 year old typist Elaine Soule confessed to murdering her roommate Catherine Elvins in Burlingame California to steal a $160 check from her mother. Elvins a Seattle physician daughter suffered 26 head wounds and 20 stab wounds in a brutal homicide. Soule admitted attacking Wednesday morning at 1 o clock and dragging the body to the kitchen then sleeping in the victim’s bed. She cited pressing debts in Freeport New York as motive.
