Walters teams take early leads in Coliseum Classic action
In the 2007 Coliseum Classic opening day at Great Plains Coliseum the Walters Blue Devils dominated the girls game 60 to 15 over Madill JV, then the Walters boys edged Carnegie 41 to 38. Carnegie tied late before Walters sealed it with two clutch plays and a late steal. Other first round winners included Cache Washington and Madill. Next day eight more games including consolation and semifinals. Walters coach Eric Norton hailed the win as a milestone for the program.
