Fire Destroys Warner School in Oklahoma
A 350000 dollar fire destroyed the old Warner High School building in Warner Oklahoma on Sunday. Superintendent Archie Collins said the fire of undetermined origin damaged the 1939 WPA built one story stone structure and forced a two day extension of the new year holiday for local students. He noted classes may resume Thursday after temporary space is arranged with nearby churches. Mayor Wayne Tallon speculated an electrical short caused by a Friday night storm contributed to the blaze.
