Dare seeks 60 day delay in Oklahoma slaying case
Oklahoma pardon board recommends a sixty day stay of Richard Dare which would postpone his execution for the 1961 slaying of four in Oklahoma City. Dare disputed a minister’s claim he wished to live saying he wants it over with as psychiatric reports are sought. The board also deferred Robert Hurt’s case and will consider lie detector tests for Hurt and York in April.
