Governor outlines school plan and lodge project progress
The governor spoke about resuming work on a school plan and lodge construction. Two main points emerged: obtaining $500,000 more federal aid to restore deleted items and waiving state liability if net revenues fail to pay bonds. ARA, OK Lake Redevelopment Authority, and planning board officials planned to press Fort Worth for an agreement. The planning board later refused a lease, Gov Nigh fired eight members, then the attorney general ruled the action illegal and reinstated the old board.
