Kidnaper Caught In Australia After Hostages Freed
Edwin John Eastwood, 26, who escaped in 1972 and abducted teachers and students, was recaptured at a roadblock in Victoria Australia. He had taken six more hostages by day and held them in a state forest at night. all captives were freed unharmed. Acting State Premier Lindsay Thompson called it miraculous and noted Eastwood demanded $50,000.

Twenty six elk from the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge herd will be transplanted to Rancho Rincon de las Huertas near Muzquiz Mexico under an international wildlife management agreement.
