Report urges action on juvenile delinquency in Comanche county
Local Citizens Committee on Children and Youth presents an eight page study led by Marie Detty detailing police contacts with youths, court and probation roles, limited social services, and scarce recreation for delinquent girls. It calls for a detention home, expanded recreational facilities, a children’s court, and more juvenile officers and probation staff to improve rehabilitation and public safety.
