The body of Marvin E. Wills a 38 year old policeman and part time detective at the Western Hills hotel was found in the 6400 block Waverly street just after midnight Sunday night. He was shot twice in the chest and once in the left arm with evidence of a fierce struggle including teeth marks and severe head blows. Wills revolver was missing. Dorothy Brown first saw the body and notified a motorist T C Caliison who called the police.

City Man Reports Beating Robbery
A Lawton man, Charles A. Reece, 5034 S. Third, was beaten and robbed by two Black men who forced him to drive to Lawton View after getting into his car at a traffic light. They took $6, a car keys set, a zipper jacket, a cigaret lighter and eyeglasses, then assaulted him at the destination. The incident occurred between 6 and 7 a.m. Saturday but was reported to police Saturday night. Police investigated by Patrolmen John McCaig and Lee Clark.

Two Men Injured In Antarctic Plane Crash Rescued Aboard Edisto
Two Navy men suffered serious injuries after a single-engine Otter crashed on takeoff near Cape Bird in McMurdo Sound. Cmdr George R. Oliver and Joshua P. Five Are Injured In Area Accident Near Randlett
A head-on crash on U.S. 277 near Randlett injured five people early Christmas morning. Graham Texas residents Dick Nutt his wife 33 and their six year old daughter Connie Sue 6 were hospitalized along with Wichita Falls men David Garcia 35 and Edward Lorenzo Ayala 19. The Nutt family were taken to Southwestern hospital while the two Mexican men were admitted to Wichita Falls General hospital. Nutt suffered a broken foot and lung injury. Mrs. Nutt is listed as daughter of Joe Yarbrough.
