Mrs. William Stitzell was guest speaker for the Wives of Post Sergeants Major at Fort Sill NCO Club. Twenty seven women attended including guest Mrs. Stitzell. Discussed energy conservation tips and plans for December brunch and holiday activities.
Riley and Cowley families held their annual holiday reunion at the Marlow Community House with about 132 in attendance. Rev J C Patterson led devotions and Emery Cowley presided over the business session. Next reunion set for Thanksgiving Day November 28 1974. Oldest attendee Mrs Ethel Riley Lawton and youngest twins Robb and Cindy Mixon Lawton. Out of state guests included Randy Riley Dallas Harold Jackson Bryan Dallas Billy Ray Wortham Kent Ginger Dinny Arlington and Kenneth Thompson Pleasure Ridge Park Ky. Mexican oranges with cocoa cinnamon and toasted almonds garnish served.
