Oklahoma Commission Rejects Gas Service Curta ilment Plan
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission denied Gas Service Company’s request to curtail new gas hookups starting January 1 after hours of testimony from residents and lawmakers. Commissioners questioned whether GSC explored alternative supply sources, noting Oklahoma Natural Gas has surplus gas. The ruling follows pressure from Bartlesville, Miami, Nowata, Pawhuska and Winita residents fearing slowed growth.
