Spassky Fischer draw again in world chess title match
In Reykjavik a 5 hour draw leaves the score 9 46 to 9 46 with 8 games left in the world chess championship. Fischer leads 134 to 124 percent overall and must draw six of eight while Spassky needs three wins and a draw to retain the title. The 16th game featured long exchange play with both players cautious as Fischer pressed on the queen side and Spassky defended with two bishops versus bishop and knight. The match resumes Tuesday for game 17.
