Cameron Eisenhower High faculty exhibit opens Lawton art season
A Cameron-Eisenhower High School faculty exhibit launches Lawton's 1977 78 art season August 28 at the Museum of the Great Plains. Featured are 140 Edmundson ceramics 20 Hefner collagraphs 4 Warren sculptures and 10 Bevins drawings silkscreens and watercolors. The opening reception runs 1 5 p.m. Sunday August 28 and the show continues two weeks.

Executive Director Di Salvo Joins Quad Cities Arts Council
The Quad Cities Arts Council announces the appointment of its current executive director Di Salvo as executive director. The council serves Davenport Bettendorf Moline East Moline and Rock Island and has built an Affiliate Artists program theatre and film series and a four month arts events calendar. Di Salvo holds a MA in Arts Administration from Wisconsin Madison and a BS in Art from Wisconsin with studies in metal sculpture and pottery. He previously advised Look Memorial Park and worked at the University of Massachusetts and St Paul Council of Arts and Sciences.
