Revision of Municipal Ambulance Code Sought
Kirk's Emergency Service owner H Kirk Kuykendall said the current city ordinance does not conform to federal guidelines and should be amended. He requests licensing three Medicruisers as ambulances while two limousines and a rescue unit be classified as specialty units under a different permit. The emergency measure extends the waiver that allowed current operation pending city council action.
