Detroit April 2. Dr C L Pearman a 56 year old psychiatrist admitted arranging to pay a hired gunman 500 dollars to shoot him dead in his downtown office and stage a robbery so a married woman would collect double indemnity. The gunman turned out to be Henry Jason a Detroit policeman. Pearman was ordered examined by a court psychiatrist with a sanity report due May 1. no charges were filed.
