Three Soviet Cosmonauts Near Rendezvous With Salute Satellite
Three Soviet cosmonauts piloting Soyuz 10 moved into a parallel orbit with the unmanned Salute target craft, pursuing a linkup that would mark a major step toward an orbiting space laboratory. Soyuz 10’s orbit is slightly higher, but the same 51.6 degree inclination suggests a simple slowdown could join the two crafts.
