Freehold New Jersey April 23 Authorities said four Fort Dix restaurant employees identified the trunk victim as the wrong woman. The body of a mid thirties attractive woman was found stuffed into a steamer trunk with a dog leash. Mrs Florence Gracie of Wrightstown New Jersey was said to be the victim. She later telephoned from Cambridge Ohio denying the identification and saying she was alive. Relatives in Ayer Massachusetts confirmed she was alive and well.
Oklahoma City April 23 police vice squad kept watch on bicycle riders after reports bootleggers used bicycles for deliveries in the downtown district. Charice Scott head of the vice squad said it had been 12 years since liquor was delivered by bicycle here. The advantage is no license number to check.
