It promises relief from intense nocturnal itching, prevents ulceration and tumor growth, and claims rapid action in most cases. Available at druggists for 50 cents, from Dr. Swayne and Son of Philadelphia.
A woman in a white apron flagged a train after a culvert washed out near a curve between Charles ton and Savannah. The passengers stopped the train and praised her as a heroine. She stated her motive was to protect her cotton patch and avoid a derailment. The notice lists numerous names and instructs those calling for above to say advertised with the date.
