First patients move in LMH fourth floor overflow unit
Lawrence Memorial Hospital began using its fourth floor as an overflow unit on Thursday afternoon. Assistant administrators Tom Jennings and Frank Creeden reported eight patients were moved into 21 beds for a total census of 161, about 80 percent, with the fourth floor expanding total capacity to 200 beds.
