LMH Health Drops Medicare Advantage Plans Jan 2025

LMH Health will stop accepting Aetna and Humana Medicare Advantage plans effective January 1, 2025. North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health providers will also no longer be in network with Aetna Medicare Advantage plans. CFO Rob Chestnut cites prior authorization denials as delaying care and increasing private company profits.

Obesity rates hold in U S but severe obesity rises
