Investigational report on Yarnell deaths released
Prescott Arizona and fire officials released a 120 page investigation into the June deaths of 19 Granite Mountain Hot Shots, citing radio problems and a 33 minute blackout. The report says proper procedure was followed and blames none, while noting communication failures and a fatal fall into a canyon amid a wind shift near Yarnell. Family members pressed for faster changes to shelters and safety policies while investigators call for lessons without assigning blame.
