Engineering Pharmacy shines in KU enrollment gains
KU reports a 2.8 percent fall to 28,718 students, with the School of Pharmacy up 11.8 percent to 655 and Engineering at a 29-year high with 2,549 undergraduates. Other schools mostly declined, including Architecture Design and Planning 6.9 percent drop and Education 6.4 percent.

City task force eyes two city carts for every home
A city-appointed group moved toward recommending that all single family households be required to use two city-issued plastic wheeled carts for trash and recycling.
