Four Wrecks Mar Weekend Traffic in Lawrence
J C Osborn of 734 North Fifth Street suffered bruises and was admitted to Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a 1 p.m. collision on the Kaw River Bridge with W R Black of 617 Maine Street. Both cars were southbound. Black stopped for traffic and Osborn could not avoid hitting him. Black’s car damage was about 800 dollars and Osborn’s about 250. Three other accidents occurred Saturday nearby on 3rd and Missouri Streets, 1238 La Street, and at Fourth and Perry Streets. No serious injuries were reported from those incidents.
