Nevada Tanker Tragedy Kills Driver in Blaze at Intersection
A tanker carrying up to 14000 gallons of gasoline crashed at a busy Reno intersection on Saturday, exploding into a 60 foot wall of flames and sending a 400 foot smoke plume. The driver died. eight others escaped serious injury as four nearby vehicles burned. Witness Libby Starr described it as an unbelievable scene. The truck swerved to avoid two other cars before the crash.
