Three Escape From Larned Asylum Inmate Captured
Three inmates escaped from the ward for insane criminals at Larned State Hospital after sawing through iron bars. Robert Woods, 18, of Wichita, was captured in Newton sitting in a stolen truck. Fellow escapees were Jess Phillips, 27, and Alex Greenfeather, 23, with a missing 19 year old girl Martha Werner. The escape occurred about 8 25 p m and a green 1952 Chevrolet pickup with license PN2229 had been stolen.

Two Accidents Send Four To Hospital In Area
