Pie emergency fuels busy shift at Ladybird Diner
Meg Hertford battles a mid afternoon pie surge as Ladybird Diner, open since a month at 721 Massachusetts St, features nostalgic old fashioned fare with a modern Lawrence twist. The menu runs daily 7 am to 10 pm and includes pies, root beer floats, pimiento cheese, chicken fried steak, Tex Mex breakfasts and the hot beef sandwich, a crowd favorite.
