Graveside services for Shirley M. Savage, 73, Lawrence, will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Leavenworth National Cemetery. She died Friday Sept 23 2011 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born January 27 1938 in Lawrence, daughter of William and Clara Henak. She worked for Kansas Power and Light 20 years and was an Avon rep 25 years. She married Richard Lee Savage on August 30 1958 in Eudora. he died January 13 1993. Survivors include daughter Deidre Savage, Lawrence. son Anthony Savage and Brigid, Gainesville GA. brother William Henak Jr., Kansas City KS. sister Betty Hoeykens, Platte Woods MO. granddaughter Hannah. Memorials to St John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
