A St Louis report aggregates data from grain houses in St Louis and Toledo noting corn prospects are good across the chief producing states. Kentucky Tennessee Texas Missouri Kansas Nebraska show higher planted acreage, with Texas harvest ready and Illinois weakest but fair. Muddy Track At Coney Island Races In Heavy Rain
Yesterday at Coney Island the track was deep with mud and water as heavy rain ruined the racing card. In the first race over one mile Little Witch won with Adelgisa second and Circassian third, time 1:51 34. Ballast won the mile and a quarter, Springfield second, time 2:15 34. The third race over one mile went to Little Fred with Little Phil second and Topsey third, time 1:45 percent.
