Nixon outlined a six point plan to expand soil bank use on a temporary basis, improve price supports, mobilize rural development for low income families, aid producer cooperatives, boost agricultural research, and create a presidential council of farmers and ranchers. The door weighed over 500 pounds and struck him on the head as he slid a warehouse door open. Rollins suffered mild shock but no concussion. The company reported a 14 month safety record with no time lost from injury.
