Kansas University programs in Topeka enrolled 276 students this semester though not all attend courses at the Capital Complex. Continuing education accounts for 153 students while 123 are at the Capital Complex.
Sources say the CIA recorded two calls in late September 1963 between Cuban and Soviet embassies in Mexico City about Oswald seeking a Soviet visa via Cuba. The Sept 27 call involved embassy officials. Sept 28 included Oswald speaking in broken Russian. References tie to Warren Commission findings.
Kansas Board of Regents meet Friday at Kansas State University to consider allowing 3.2 cereal malt beverages sales on campus following a Lawrence City Commission request. High schools from Kansas and western Missouri will gather in Lawrence for KU Band Day. The 95 bands will parade through downtown and perform at the KU Oregon State game, with the 200 member KU Marching Band leading the procession.
