Lawrence man hurt in head-on crash on North Second
A 65-year-old Lawrence resident Ralph Barrand sustained facial and chest injuries in a two car collision on North Second Street near the Union Pacific underpass. He was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and released. Williams, 44, of 1214 M J Street, drove a second vehicle in the crash. Vehicle damage was about 1800 dollars.
