City planning board approves height change on Fourteenth Street

More than 50 airplanes with about 150 pilots and passengers will land at Lawrence municipal airport tomorrow around 2 45 in the afternoon as the All-Kansas Goodwill Air Tour adds Lawrence as a port of call on a three day tour. The Wichita Chamber of Commerce aviation division sponsors the tour visiting twelve towns. the squadron left Wichita this morning and will disband tomorrow at El Dorado. Lawrence residents are urged to greet the goodwill trippers and support the student training program starting soon. The planes will come from Manhattan and depart at 4 pm for Topeka for an all night stop.

Bank Robbery in Dodge City Ends With Arrest
