New Peaslee Tech chief aims to lift enrollment above 1000
Lawrence leaders appoint Kevin Kelley as executive director of Peaslee Tech with a plan to grow the VO tech center to more than 1,000 students in three to five years. Kelley, 63, formerly led IPAC Corp., maker of industrial adhesives, and will start Oct. 2. He cites his business ownership as key to guiding technical training and strengthening ties with the business community. He explains the envelope glue flavor issue as an industry-wide disagreement on taste.
