The group has about 100 members and invites all to attend with refreshments after the program.
Chancellor Deane W. Malott forecast a lower total enroll at the University of Kansas. With 4 043 students reported, the figure trails last year by 223 as of yesterday. late Saturday adds may lift to about 4 250, with around 260 medical students to be included from Kansas City.

Old Colony Insurance sues Kansas Public Service in district court for 1890 for damages from an explosion at M. S. Winter residence 1116 West Hills Parkway on September 23, 1938. The insurer paid the judgment and Winter signed a subrogation receipt authorizing suit in his name. Claim alleges the blast came from a gas leak in the defendant's gas main.
