Dorothy Eleanor Blair, born December 1, 1901 in Hanford California, died September 12, 2011 at her Lawrence home. She married Lewis B. Blair in 1934 and lived in Cheverly Maryland, later raising a family in Lawrence Kansas. Survived by son Thomas Lane Blair and daughter Barbara Clark, plus three grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Her life spanned Cripple Creek Colorado Tyrone Pennsylvania and Mary land before settling in Kansas. Her family and friends recall her humor and strength and a Desiderata quote closes her remembrance.
